Charles Suresh Morais, the younger brother of the late Anthony Kevin Morais, fled the country after making various allegations in connection with his brother's death.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said Suresh left the country at 1.30am through the Johor Causeway last Thursday, a day after he held a press conference on Kevin's death.

The social media and news portal recently reported various allegations made by Suresh in connection with Kevin's death, including that his brother was involved in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) probe.
Khalid said the police would call Suresh's lawyer, Americk Sidhu, soon to assist investigation.
"If he (Sidhu) cannot assist in the investigation, police will use other methods to track down Suresh," he said, adding that the police had opened investigation papers against Suresh under Section 202 of the Penal Code for intentional omission to provide information of an offence.
Kevin's body was found in a drum filled with concrete at Persiaran Subang Mewah, Subang Jaya, near here last Sept 16.
Kevin, 55, was reported missing on Sept 4. He was last seen leaving his apartment at Menara Duta here to his office in Putrajaya.
