A police report should be lodged by the brother of murdered Anthony Kevin Morais in order for the Royal Malaysian Police to begin their investigation in regards to his allegations, stressed Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed.
“The police will not be able to act on the allegations made. Lodge a police report first and allow investigations to be conducted,” said Jazlan at the Parliament lobby today.
He also advised Charles Suresh Morais not to make allegations while the investigation has not been made.
Meanwhile, Barisan Nasional (BN) strategic communications director, Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan said the allegations made by Charles were extreme.
“The allegations made by Charles (sSuresh) involves the Prime Minister who is the head of the government.
“It is puzzling. Every time there is a big matter that involves the Prime Minister, there will always be a big issue,” said Rahman.
He said it is unfair for such allegations to be made since the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has yet to confirm that the charge sheet is fake.
Asked his opinion about the situation when the allegation was made, Rahman admitted that it was suspicious.
Earlier, the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said that the police will call Charles Suresh in connection to a report that he had a certain information in connection to his brother’s murder.
