Chevrolet launches two new models

Naza Quest Sdn Bhd, official distributors of Chevrolet cars in Malaysia announces the availability of two new variants for two of their models. Both the Chevrolet Colorado and Chevrolet Cruze now get a Sport variant added into the mix!

The Chevrolet Colorado Sport shares the same powerplant as the Colorado LTZ Muscle, a 2.8-litre four-cylinder DOHC Duramax diesel engine that delivers 197bhp at 3600rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2000rpm. The Colorado Sport comes with a stylish front bumper guard, door visor, rear roll bar and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the Colorado Sport comes complete with premium full leather seats and leather door trims along with a reverse camera as well. For better handling, the Sport comes with fully adjustable suspensions that also improve ride comfort.

For the Colorado Cruze, you get a 1.8-litre Ecotec DCVCP that produces 138bhp and 167Nm with double continuous variable cam phasing technology for smooth driving experience with improved fuel efficiency.

The Cruze Sport now has aerodynamic body kit installed on the car, the front fascia has been redesigned to give the Cruze a sporty look befitting its variant name. Chevrolet has also added door visors and alloy light weight wheels into the mix. The interior comes wrapped in premium leather with LED door still plate and foot rest to decorate the entry.

A new multi information display that allows owners to personalise settings is also installed in the Cruze Sport. Other driver assistance features includes remote keyless entry and Passive Entry Push Start (PEPS) for better convenience.

The asking price for the Chevrolet Colorado Sport is RM138,967 on the road inclusive of insurance and road tax while the Chevrolet Cruze Sport is RM122,868 on the road and inclusive of insurance and road tax. The Colorado Sport also comes with a warranty package of three-years or 100,000km. The Cruze Sport on the other hand comes with a five-year warranty or 200,000km.

At the moment, Chevrolet is offering cash rebates of up to RM12,500 for the Cruze Sport and RM6000 for the Colorado Sport. Be sure to catch the roadshows that will be held at One Utama from 2nd to 6th December 2015.
