Child playing with cigarette lighter causes fire to artificial tree at klia

Malaysia Berhad Airport (MAHB) has called on the people to always keep an eye on their children, especially at the airport.

This is following an incident occured this morning where a child had almost ignited a fire at Kuala Airport Lumpur2 (klia2).

The incident was shared by MAHB via their Instagram account.

Notice: An unfortunate incident happened in klia2 this morning when a child playing with a cigarette lighter caused fire to an artificial tree. Luckily, a quick thinking airline staff immediately put out the fire within five minutes before any further untoward incidents occured. We would like to remind all parents to keep watch on their children at all times and to prevent them from playing with dangerous items for their own safety and that of others. #MYairportsupdates #safety #children #kids #travel #airport #terminal #klia2
