CMCO: 60,528 inspections conducted to enforce SOP compliance

The Compliance Operations Task Force conducted a total of 60,528 inspections to monitor and enforce compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) throughout the country yesterday.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said 3,675 supermarkets, 3,102 restaurants, 330 hawkers, 753 factories and 3,743 banks were inspected on the first day of Syawal.
He said inspections were also conducted on 1,022 land transport terminals, 168 water transport terminals and 101 air transport terminals.
"The Compliance Operations Task Force inspected 23,633 private vehicles, 1,318 public vehicles and 19 vessels.
"Also inspected were 1,192 public markets, 4,720 places of worship, 1,392 places of leisure and 247 construction sites," he said at a daily press conference here today.
He said a total of 2,876 compliance teams involving 15,023 members had been involved in the monitoring operations.
