CMCO: 97,552 inspections conducted to enforce compliance with SOP

The Compliance Operations Task Force conducted a total of 97,552 inspections to monitor and enforce compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) throughout the country yesterday.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said 7,435 supermarkets, 5,131 restaurants, 1,415 hawkers, 1,024 factories and 4,203 banks were inspected.
He said inspections were also carried out at 1,322 land transport terminals, 236 water transport terminals and 349 air transport terminals.
"The Compliance Operations Task Force inspected 30,702 private vehicles, 2,052 public vehicles and 286 vessels.
"Also examined were 10,637 public markets, 4,045 places of worship, 944 recreational areas and 636 construction sites," he said in a press statement today.
Ismail Sabri added that 3,479 compliance teams had been monitoring and involving 18,856 members.
