MELAKA: The Sessions Court today fined a director of a company dealing in electronics and electrical appliances RM8,000 for selling uncertified communication equipment.
Judge Nariman Badruddin meted out the sentence on Chong Hui Yee, 38, after the woman pleaded guilty to the charge.
She paid the fine.
The offence was committed at No. 60, Jalan Kota Laksamana 4, Taman Kota Laksamana at noon on Sept 4, 2020.
Prosecuting officer from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Mai Zairani Zainal Abidinprosecuted.
