Complete transfer of Selangor water assets to PAAB within 60 days
MOHAMED AZMIN: The Selangor government is in discussions with PAAB to identify which facilities to be leased to Air Selangor.
The transfer of water assets in Selangor to Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) will be completed within 60 days from the date of the signing of the water restructuring Supplemental Agreement.
The supplemental agreement signed on July 10 is an addition to the Master Agreement in the water restructuring deal.
Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said the state government was in discussions with PAAB to identify which facilities to be leased to Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).
"As soon as we finalised the agreement last week, we were given 60 days and we will complete the process within that period.
"The disagreement earlier was about two water assets in Semenyih and Bukit Nanas; it was resolved after the state government agreed to hand over four other assets that have the same value, to expedite the restructuring," he said.
He said this to reporters when met at the Aidilfitri open house organised by the Selangor state government here Sunday.
