Muslims have been urged to perform 'solat hajat' (special prayers) on Friday to seek divine protection following the conflict between Malaysia and North Korea.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir said all Malaysians should pray for the safety of 11 Malaysians trapped in North Korea.
"I would like to urge all mosques and surau throughout the country to hold 'solat hajat' after Friday prayers on March 10 until this crisis is over," he said in a statement Wednesday.
