Continental gives back to the community

Continental takes a further step in its efforts to the community by extending a helping hand towards the conservation of our nation’s wildlife. They will be sponsoring a miniature horse for the National Zoo for the time being. The reason the company has chosen the horse is because the animal, to Continental, represents qualities such as agility and speed, in direct coherence with the characteristics and value system of the organisation.

Patrick Haarmann, Continental Plant manager added “Our aim is to promote harmony between man and nature and we are certain that this wildlife sponsorship will be a stepping stone to the many CSR activities that we have planned in the future”.

Continental’s long-term prospects go beyond the simple sponsorship of wildlife, rather the efforts are aimed at instilling the importance of wildlife conservation among the employees and creating awareness in the eyes of the general public.
