KUALA LUMPUR:Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin called on all Muslims to continue praying while the country is still being tested with COVID-19 as well as in efforts to restore the economy and strengthen unity among the people.
In conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration, the Prime Minister also stated that this COVID-19 test should strengthen the commitment to love and get closer to the teachings of Rasulullah SAW who never forgets his people.
He also invited Muslims to salute the great esteemed Prophet Muhammad SAW, appreciate the Prophet's head and try their best to emulate the Prophet.
In the latest update via Facebook, the Prime Minister also touched on the theme of this year's Maulidur Rasul Celebration is "Ummah Rabbani, Negara Harmoni".
According to him, this theme was chosen to illustrate the importance of rabbani nature and the obedience of slaves to the creator which will eventually lead to the harmony of the ummah and the country.
