A pair of lovers under the influence of drugs, was arrested for trying to enter the federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman with the man posing as a police officer, last night.
Dang Wangi district police chief, ACP Zainol Samah said in the 10pm incident, a man and a woman in their 30s tried to enter Bukit Aman in a red Honda CR-Z Hybrid car.
"The man said he was a police personnel at Bukit Aman and wanted to get in but inspection at the entrance checkpoint found he was not a policeman," Zainol said when contacted by Bernama, here, today.
Zainol said on checking the man, seven firecracker balls were found in his backpack.
"The investigation conducted revealed that the couple had nothing to do with terrorism but both tested positive for methamphetamine," he said.
Both suspects were taken to the Dang Wangi police headquarters and are being remanded for three days from today to facilitate investigations.
