COVID-19: 117 new cases in Malaysia, bringing cumulative total to 790

A total of 117 new COVID-19 cases were reported as at noon today, bringing cumulative cases in the country to 790, according to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Adham Baba.
He said 80 out of the 117 new cases were linked to the tabligh religious gathering at Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling.
Eleven cases have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total recovery cases to 60.
Meanwhile, 15 cases are reported to be critically ill.
"As of today, 15 COVID-19 positive cases are undergoing treatment in in the intensive care unit (ICU) and requiring ventilator support."
This marks the fourth day of three-digit increases in confirmed cases in Malaysia.
