COVID-19: 3,142 new cases reported, Selangor tops the list with 1,019

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's daily COVID-19 infections has surge to 3,142 within the last 24 hours, raising the total number of cases to 401,598 cases so far.
The country also registered another 15 coronavirus fatalities, bringing the death toll to 1,477.
This is the first time Malaysia records over 3,000 cases in a day since 25th February 2021.
Selangor records whopping 1,019 cases, followed by Kelantan with 523 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 440 cases and Sarawak with 416 cases.
