According to the Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, out of that number, seven are imported cases involving one citizen and six non-citizens.
Sabah still recorded the highest daily cases with 259 cases (31.5 per cent) followed by the state in the Klang Valley with 202 cases (24.6 per cent).
Meanwhile, active cases with infectiousness also increased to 11,497 cases, and the daily recovery cases recorded a total of 769 cases making the cumulative number of recovered cases is 31,073 cases (72.5 percent).
To date, there are 86 positive cases being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 30 cases requiring respiratory assistance.
There was an increase of two deaths recorded today, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 302 cases.

- new namely Haven Cluster, Karamunting Cluster and Saga Cluster
- 91 cases from close contact screening of COVID-19 positive cases; and

• Penang: 26 cases

- Two cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (SARI); and
