Lahad Datu district in Sabah has been declared as COVID-19 red zone, bringing the tally of the country’s red zones to 30 as of noon yesterday.
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH)’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) infographic, the district had recorded 42 positive cases.
Lahad Datu is the third district in Sabah that has been declared as the red zone after Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.
Meanwhile, Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur remains as the area with the most number of COVID-19 positive cases at 613, followed by Hulu Langat and Petaling in Selangor with 445 and 373 cases respectively.
The red zone represents areas with more than 41 positive cases of COVID-19, orange zone (20-40 kes), yellow zone (1-19 cases) and green zone for no cases areas. - BERNAMA
