Organizations linked to any of the positive cases of COVID-19 need not shut their offices.
Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) director-general, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, said it was enough to take preventative measures and carry out disinfection.
He also hoped that all parties could stay calm and cooperate with MOH by providing the right information when contacted.
"MOH hopes that everyone stay calm and cooperate by providing the right information when contacted or identified as a close contact.
"The MOH also wants to advise organizations that detect positive cases not to have to shut their offices but suffice to carry out disinfection.
"At the same time, all parties are asked not to spread any information that may cause alarm to the public," Dr Noor Hisham said at a press conference on Wednesday.
Earlier today, Felcra Berhad issued a directive to all employees to work from home following a member of its Board of Directors was confirmed positive of COVID-19.
Felcra Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Nazrul Izam Mansor, said the situation was currently under control and no symptoms were found among its staff.
"All activities and operations at the headquarters have been halted immediately from today, March 4, to Friday, March 6, 2020 to enable comprehensive cleaning and sanitation work," Mohd Nazrul said in a statement.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Wednesday confirmed 14 more new COVID-19 positive cases, all of which are closely linked to case 26, identified as a senior member of the Khazanah Nasional Berhad and UDA Holdings Berhad who has since being quarantined at Sungai Buloh Hospital.
It brings the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country to 50.
