COVID: 21,468 new cases reported Friday, Selangor remains highest - Health DG

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia reported 21,468 new COVID-19 infections today, a slight drop compared to the 21,668 cases reported yesterday, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
Sharing data via a Twitter post, Dr Noor Hisham said the latest daily figure takes the COVID-19 cumulative case total to 1,363,683.
Selangor remained the state with the highest number of new infections with 7,449 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (2,183), Kedah (1,807), Sabah (1,654) and Johor (1,485).
Penang reported 1,316 cases, Kelantan (1,088), Negeri Sembilan (974), Perak (940), Melaka (723), Sarawak (715), Pahang (572), Terengganu (440), Putrajaya (66), Perlis (50) while Labuan recorded six new cases.
