COVID: 4,865 new cases reported, Selangor still tops

KUALA LUMPUR: New COVID-19 cases continued to rise in the past 24 hours when 4,865 cases were recorded today compared to 4,446 cases yesterday, bringing the overall positive cases in Malaysia to 479,421.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a post on his Twitter site said during the period, there were 1,743 cases in Selangor, followed by Sarawak (512) and Kuala Lumpur (477).
Johor recorded 407 cases followed by Kelantan (406), Kedah (244), Penang (220), Perak (160), Terengganu (156), Pahang (152), Negeri Sembilan (149), Melaka (127), Putrajaya (9), Labuan (6) and Perlis (2).
