COVID: 6,849 new cases, Selangor again top with 2,558

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 6,849 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Malaysia today compared with 5,671 yesterday, bringing the cumulative figure to 646,411 cases, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In a Twitter posting, he said Selangor again topped the daily case list with 2,558, followed by Kuala Lumpur (884), Sarawak (699), Negeri Sembilan (685), Johor (426), Sabah (309) and Kelantan (248).
Penang had 205 cases, Labuan (176), Melaka (170), Perak and Kedah (161 each), Pahang (89), Terengganu (66), Putrajaya (10) and Perlis (two).
