KUALA LUMPUR: The number of daily COVID-19 cases dropped today, with 15,764 reported compared to 17,150 yesterday, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In a Facebook post today, he said this brought the cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 1,146,186.
He said Selangor remained the state with the highest number of cases at 6,067, followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,536), Johor (1,222), Sabah (1,166) and Kedah (1,108).
Negeri Sembilan recorded 862 cases, Perak (748), Penang (667), Kelantan (552), Pahang (475), Melaka (463), Terengganu (425), Sarawak (411), Putrajaya (46), Perlis (nine) and Labuan (seven).
