COVID-19: Eight new clusters detected, three ended - Health DG

PUTRAJAYA:The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Wednesday identified eight new COVID-19 clusters while three others have ended, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
He said that the three new clusters in Sabah were the Sabaru Cluster in Lahad Datu, Tomher Cluster in Ranau and the Garden Cluster in Tawau.
The other new clusters were the Putra-18 (Putrajaya, Selangor), Murni (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor), Seri Pasir (Penang), Besi Demak (Sarawak) and Parit Kassan (Johor, Melaka) clusters.
Meanwhile, Dr Noor Hisham said that three clusters have also ended, namely, Kencana (involving Selangor, Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Terengganu), Bah Sintok (Kedah, Negeri Sembilan and Selangor) and Seri Anggerik (Selangor) clusters.
Detailing the new clusters, he said that the index case of the Sabaru cluster was identified from a symptomatic individual screening on Nov 3 and subsequently admitted to the Lahad Datu Hospital.
