COVID-19: Malaysia recorded 11 new deaths in 24 hours.

KUALA LUMPUR:Malaysia recorded 11 new deaths due to COVID-19 in 24 hours, bringing the total number of death cases to 376.
Of the total, five cases were recorded at Sungai Buloh Hospital, two cases at Enche 'Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital, Kluang Johor, two cases at Duchess Of Kent Hospital, Sabah, and the rest at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Seremban and Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) at the same time reported a total of 1,075 new daily cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 69,095.
Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham said out of the total, three import cases were reported which received infection from abroad.
"Active cases with COVID-19 infectivity are now 10,802 cases," he said in a statement on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Klang Valley recorded the highest number of COVID-19 transmission cases of 508 cases and of that number, Selangor reported 459 and this was followed by Sabah with 310 cases.
To date, 116 cases are receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and out of that number, 46 cases require respiratory assistance.
