KUALA LUMPUR: COVID-19 deaths today involved two cases in Selangor and one each in Pahang, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak, said Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
Here are some of the other highlights announced by Dr Noor Hisham:
1. A total of 2,192 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours with three of them being import cases receiving infections from abroad.
2. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia is 285,761.
3. The number of patients who recovered from the pandemic also continued to show an increase with 3,414 cases reported, thus making the cumulative number of recovery cases now at 252,623.
4. Active cases with COVID-19 infectivity recorded by the Ministry of Health are at 32,076 cases.
5. Selangor reported the highest new daily cases of 910 cases (41.5 per cent).
