COVID-19: Two new cases, 20 recovered

The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced two more new cases of positive COVID-19 in the country on Tuesday.
This brings the cumulative number of positive cases in the country to 8,639 cases with 164 active cases with COVID-19 infectivity.
According to Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the two new cases recorded involved citizens.
One case was an import case of an overseas infection while another case was a domestic transmission, a pre-referral screening case at Kota Belud Hospital, Sabah.
Meanwhile, 20 cases have recovered and allowed to be discharged, bringing the total number of cases recovered to 8,354 cases (96.7 per cent).
At the same time, no increase in COVID-19 related death was reported and the death toll remained at 121.
To date, four positive cases were being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with one case requiring respiratory assistance.
