Culprits who shot down MH17 will be brought to justice

The government will ensure that those responsible for shooting down Malaysia Airline (MAS) flight MH17 in Ukraine on July 17 be brought to justice.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said an investigation would be conducted to determine what actually took place and to find answers so the culprits receive their just punishment.
"This is to ensure justice for the victims and families of the MH17 tragedy.
"Malaysia is consistent over the matter regardless of what excuses are made to deny justice to the victims and their families.
"If we cannot uphold justice as societies and neutral countries of the world, what is shouted out there on justice, freedom and so on, will not mean a thing," he told reporters when opening the Rasah UMNO division delegates meeting here today.
He stressed that the stand of the government was to bring the culprits responsible for shooting down the MH17 aircraft to justice.
"Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had announced that he would endeavour towards this end.
"We will not give up, as I mentioned just now, there are several other victims including our step grandmother, who are yet to be found," he said.
MH17, with 298 passengers and crew, was shot down over Donetsk, east Ukraine on July 17 while flying to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam.
Forty three individuals including 15 crew were Malaysians.
