Police have arrested four people including two women, alleged to be connected with the discovery of homemade bombs in a condominium unit in Damansara Perdana last month.
Selangor Police CID chief Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the four suspects, aged between 31 and 40 years, were arrested in an apartment in Ampang at about 1am on Saturday.
"In the raid, police also seized a BMW car bearing a fake registration number, some tools for break-in and global positioning system (GPS) trackers," he said in a press conference here, today.
Mohd Adnan said they did not rule out the possibility that the bombs were used in burglary and illegal money lending activities.

"However, we are still investigating to what extent the handmade bombs were used in their criminal activities.
"The suspects are being remanded until tomorrow and the case is being investigated under the Explosives Act 1957," he said.
On April 17, more than 200 Damansara Perdana residents were shocked after seven hand grenades were found in one of the condominium units at about 4.30am.
Police also found electronic equipment, drugs believed to be methamphetamine weighing two kilogrammes, and a number of Erimin 5 pills.
In another case, Mohd Adnan said a a 26-year-old woman was raped and robbed in her house at Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya, near here, last Friday.
He said in the 8 am incident the victim was getting ready for work when five men appeared in a Perodua Myvi.
"Three of the suspects armed with machetes and wearing face masks entered the house which was not locked.
"One of suspects pulled the victim to a room and raped her while the other two ransacked her home.
"We are still tracking down the suspects and the case will be investigated under Sections 394 and 376 of the Penal Code," he said.
