The family member who declined to be identified, when contacted, said in the conversation, Habibah had asked them to assist in looking after her children.
"The last time she called us was about 11am today and she had asked us to look after her children," the family member said on Friday.

The late Habibah, who was the second of nine siblings, was among the six people who died when the helicopter they were flying on crashed in the Naltar Valley, Pakistan.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry, in a statement, said Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar was reported to be injured in the incident and was being treated at the Gilgit Hospital.

The family member said the last time they met Habibah was about 50 days ago, when her father, Mahmud Abdul Aziz, in his 80's, died of old age at the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital (HPSF), here.
"She looked normal then and I was informed that they might return to Malaysia soon after following the completion of her husband's duration of service," the family member said.

Habibah and her husband had been in Pakistan for almost three years after transferring from Algeria.
Habibah, who was a former student of Kolej Tunku Kursiah, Seremban, furthered her studies at the University of Malaya and later served as a teacher before taking no-pay-leave to follow her husband.
The family member said all of Habibah's three children, Haziani Sofia, 27, Haziani Farhana, 26 and Haziq Fazli, 19, were in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, while her siblings were gathering at her mother-in-law's house in Batu Pahat, Johor.
