Daughter remanded to assist investigation on taxi driver's murder

The daughter to the taxi driver who was found dead in a unit at Danau Kota flats here Thursday was remanded for five days after she gave conflicting statements.
The insurance agent, in her 30s, was detained around 2.30pm Thursday after giving her statement at the Sri Petaling Police Station, here.
Wangsa Maju Police chief Supt Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif said the police were also tracking down two men, both 20, including a Pakistani to facilitate investigation.
He said the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
The body of the taxi driver was reported to have been discovered around 12.40pm Thursday in a rolled mattress under a pile of clothes. -- Bernama
