Security forces found four bodies including two children inside a house at Kampung Tanjung Batu in Lahad Datu.
The bodies which are believed to be terrorist sympathisers were found after security forces had a firefight with two terrorists in the area at around 9.15am.
No personal documents were found on the bodies but security forces found several food supplies which had been stockpiled inside the house.
They also found an injured child inside the house and immediately he was airlifted to Hospital Sandakan for further medical treatment.
Prior to the discovery, security forces involved with several firefights which caused a house destroyed in a fire and an army personnel was injured after was shot at leg by the terrorist when trying to approached a house that occupied by the terrorist.
Meanwhile, the terrorist commander that was arrested on Saturday in Semporna have been identified as Datu Amir Baha Hushin Kiram.
He was arrested with his wife and at the same time also police had detained a local couple who had been abetting the terrorist with food supplies, medical, transportation and lodging.
Until today, the total of 416 people have been detained including 110 which being arrested under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (SOSMA).
On the same development also, Kampung Tanduo resident will be return to their homes at least by upcoming Tuesday after the area was announced as ‘terrorist free’ area last week.
