DC Says: The special group

So there you have it. The broad strokes on those who cause more issues on the road. Can they be helped? I would say, yes. Most of them. However, there are those who are just not designed to get behind the wheel of a car.
This brings me to the special group - the inconsiderates. You know who they are. Their hallmark moves include:
  1. double parking, even though there are a few spaces just a stone throw away
  2. parking in spots reserved for the "kurang upaya" or "special needs" drivers
  3. cutting in front of you, because they don’t want to queue
  4. staring daggers at you as they drive by, after they made a mistake, etc, etc, etc.
Basically, they don't care. Unfortunately, some think they are better than the rest because they drive an expensive premium car from Germany or Italy.

Having said that... I have had my share who drive mass-oriented brands too.

Personally, I don't care what you drive, your gender, age, sexual orientation, etc. If you are a pain-in-the-ass on the road... you are. Full stop.

The tortures I have devised in my mind should not be put up here. But suffice to say, these are indeed a most painful bunch.

The worst part? They really don't care... until they are forced to face the music. So, may I recommend that we stand up to these folks, and with the help of social media... well... there are lots we can do.

And for the love of all things sacred, please don't be one of "them". Believe it or not, driving with respect for other road users is like passing a baton of change.

Try it. Do good on the road, give way, raise your hand in acknowledgement when someone does a good deed for you on the road. Pass it on.

As grumpy as I am on the road, I am doing this more and more. And maybe it’s just me, but I am also getting a lot more kindness on the road, despites the diverse groups of aforementioned idiots sharing the same roads with me...

So here is your challenge... everyone stay calm on the road. Be courteous. Give way. Obey the law...

And be an agent of positive change. See you on the tarmac.
