Deaf man hit by train in Tumpat
His body was sent to the Tumpat Hospital for post-mortem.
A 55-year-old deaf man died after being hit by a train at Kampung Berangan, near here, this morning.
In the incident at about 9.40am, the man identified as Wan Zain Wan Abdul Rahman from Kampung Pulau Gorek, Palekbang, died at the scene.
The victim did not hear the Tumpat-bound train approaching.
A relative of the victim, Siti Mariam Othman said the victim who was a bachelor, lived with his sister near the Berangan train station.
His body was sent to the Tumpat Hospital for post-mortem.
