The second woman detained in connection with the death of a North Korean man by the name of Kim Chol holds an Indonesian passport, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar today.
According to the personal identification details in the passport, the suspect is named Siti Aishah, born in Serang, Indonesia, on February 11, 1992.
"On February 16, 2017 at about 2am, the Royal Malaysian Police arrested another female suspect, believed to be involved in the death of a Korean male on February 13, 2017.
"She was also positively identified from the CCTV footage at the airport and was alone at the time of arrest," Khalid said in a statement updating on the progress of investigation into the case.
Earlier today, Khalid confirmed that another woman was detained in connection with the death of Kim Chol, who according to foreign media, was actually Kim Jong-nam, an elder half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Khalid added in the statement today, investigation into the case will continue and actions against the suspects will be taken in accordance with the law.
On Monday, a North Korean man died on the way to the hospital from klia2 after complaining of ill health and trying to seek medical assistance at the airport customer service counter.
