The RON95 fuel price for December will be at RM1.95 per litre, Petroleum Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM) told The Star Online.
Last month, the price of RON95 was set at RM2.05 per litre.
PDAM deputy president Datuk Zulkifli Mokti told the daily the prices for RON97, regular diesel and Euro 5 diesel would remain the same at RM2.45, RM1.90 and RM2.00 per litre respectively.
The government had implemented the Managed Float system to determine the price of RON95, RON97 petrol and diesel from Dec 1 last year.
The managed float system was introduced after fuel subsidies were removed when world oil prices dropped towards the end of last year.
In October, the government decided not to give the public prior notice on fuel price changes to prevent petrol pump operators from controlling the sale of fuel to consumers.
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin said the notice would only be issued to the PDAM at midnight on the last day of every month.
