Decomposed body of man found in rubbish trap in Ijok
He said the body was taken to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for post mortem.
A badly decomposed body of a man who was believed to have been murdered was found in a rubbish trap area at the Eighth Mile of Ijok, Kuala Selangor yesterday.
Kuala Selangor police chief Supt Ruslan Abdullah said the police received a call by the cleaning employee of the area about 4.40pm following the discovery of the body.
He said the unidentified body, believed to be in his 20s, was found with both ankles tied with two types of saree cloth and a blue-coloured cloth for banner.
"The victim, clad in dark denim with no shirt, was believed to have been killed elsewhere before the body was dumped into a river. He must have died between two and four weeks ago," said Ruslan in a statement here.
He said the body was taken to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for post mortem.
Members of the public with information about the case or missing family members were urged to contact the nearest police station, Ruslan added.
