PKR vice-president Tian Chua is advised not to deny his involvement in organising a meeting between Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar and Jacel H. Kiram.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Tian Chua should be prepared to explain it to the police when they come for him soon.
"Don't deny it through the media. Deny it to the police when they come to record your statement," he said during a press conference at the Parliament lobby on Monday.
Earlier, Tian Chua who is also Batu MP, had denied his involvement as claimed by Ahmad Zahid.
Ahmad Zahid who is also Home Minister in an earlier statement said that Tian Chua was behind a meeting between Nurul Izzah Anwar and Jacel in Manila recently.
Nurul Izzah was photographed posing with Jacel, daughter of self-styled Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, who had allegedly ordered the intrusion of Sabah at Lahad Datu in 2013.
The photograph was uploaded on November 9 through Jacel's Facebook account.
It drew many criticisms among leaders and several politicians in the country including the Opposition.
Some of them criticised her action as hurting the feelings of the Sabahans especially those in Lahad Datu who suffered terrorist intrusion from southern Philippines in 2013, following the directive of Jamalul Kiram III.
