According to wired.com, the mode will disable some of the phone’s most-intensive features.
Users are not able to choose which features get shut off.

Singaporeans loving the split screen
Singaporeans also managed to download the latest operating system, which was made available also at 1am, Thursday.
Among the features that were well-received include the Low-Power Mode and the split screen feature.
However, there were some users in Singapore who were not able to download the operating system.
Indonesians more interested in passcode
The new operating system was also well received in Indonesia.
