Devamany: "Kesavan's resignation letter is fake"
Perak State Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri S.K. Devamany on Wednesday, confirmed the letter of resignation allegedly from PKR Hutan Melintang assemblyman S.Kesavan is fake. He also called the letter which his clerk received at about 2.30 pm on Tuesday evening as a fraud. Devamany told Astro AWANI that upon receiving the letter, he had immediately contacted Kesavan to verify the content of the letter. He said Kesavan has denied resigning. He said, “The legislative process we are in together is the very key for democratic system and also in the Perak administration”. “This sort of issues should not damage our good name; irresponsible individuals like this should not get away with it. I leave it to the police for investigation,” he told reporters at a press conference in the Perak State Secretariat on Wednesday. Kesavan on Tuesday had denied the allegation of him quitting PKR and denied sending any letter regarding his resignation to Devamany. A copy of the resignation letter went viral online on Tuesday, promting PKR's communications director Fahmi Fadzil to issue a press statement, denying the matter. kesavan
