Its Yang Dipertua Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan said a RM25,000 compound (per day) has been imposed on the developer, Bluedream City Development since the notice for the company to stop construction was issued in February.
“The compound was imposed on the developer on February 6 which is also the date given for construction to be halted. The notice will only take effect once the Subang Jaya Municipal Council is satisfied with the security level of the project.
“The developers have also agreed to help repair the damages at the school,” said Hisham to reporters during a press conference held at the construction site on Tuesday..
The school, which was closed starting April 21 faced damages on its building, soil erosion allegedly caused by the construction.

Hisham also said only slope stabilization works were allowed to be done at the moment and that his quarters will ensure no construction takes place there.
Meanwhile, a representative of the developer, Stanley Wong who also attended the press conference said that they will continue providing the cooperation in solving the issue.
“We will always cooperate with the authorities in ensuring the safety of all quarters in solving this issue,” said Stanley.

The 23-storey condominium project was approved in December 2011 and was being constructed on a former mining land.
Since the middle of 2014 however, serious land erosion was detected which led to the damage of the school’s structure located behind the project.
Parents and Teachers Association and school management had lodged a report to the authorities which involved the District Education Office Petaling Perdana, Selangor Education Department, Education Ministry and the MPSJ.
