KUALA LUMPUR:The Dewan Rakyat today passed the Supply (Budget) Bill 2021.
It came after two attempts by the Opposition to call for a bloc vote at both the final stage of the committee and the third reading, failed.
Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun announced after the two bloc voting that a total of 111 elected representatives supported, 108 did not support, while one was absent.
Earlier, the Supply Bill 2020 was tabled for the third reading by the Minister of Finance, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz and seconded by Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali (Bersatu-Gombak).
