Her first job she ever did was a video segment called the U Tours. What they did was to go to the top 20 schools in Canada to interview the students and asked them to comment on campus life, food, housing, courses and how they would see themselves. She learnt a lot from she was hosting and then she did a commercial and the movie, American Pie (which did end up on the cutting room floor unfortunately).

She is currently not pursuing acting but if work does come, she’ll take it. Last May, she shot a movie called It’s Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong, a romantic feature film with Jamie Chung and Brian Greenberg. Her body of work extends outside of just Malaysia and people see her in Hong Kong and Canada as well. She even had the chance to work in Beijing where she shot a sci-fi short film. Sarah is looking to expand into the talk show business, working on her possible talk show, Ah Lian, which would ideally be a fun entertainment talk show with a Jimmy Fallon-Ellen DeGeneres feel.

Sarah hopes that she can eventually get on television screens if not on online platform like podcasts, so she is working with producers that she used to work with. A lot of people questioned her but she has the drive and passion to accomplish her dreams!
