Dior Secret Garden IV feat. Rihanna

It was announced that Rihanna would become the first black woman to be the face of a Christian Dior campaign at the beginning of the year. The Barbadian singer is much-loved by Raf Simons, Dior’s creative director, for some time so it was foreseeable that these two brands would come together to collaborate. This further solidifies Rihanna’s position within the fashion industry and this monumental feat adds some much-needed diversity to the Parisian brand’s repute.

So, without further ado we welcome Dior’s Rihanna-starring short film, “Secret Garden IV.” The artistic video features the opening track, “Only if for a Night,” from the entertainer’s upcoming album, with the new face of the brand donning numerous dresses from their new campaign.



The video trails Rihanna as she roams through the salons of the royal chateau of Versailles on a shadowy nocturnal stroll, stopping to dance in the contemplative wonderland of the "Hall of Mirrors" before lastly fleeing into its gardens as daylight breaks.



The “Secret Garden IV” video and accompanying print campaign was shot by distinguished photographer Steven Klein who the performer has worked with in the past.
