Disabled octogenarian burnt to death in fire at sundry shop
He said the charred body of the man was found at the entrance of the shop which was totally destroyed by the fire.
A disabled octogenarian was burnt to death in a fire that broke out at a sundry shop in Kampung Jangkar here at 7.50 pm today.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman, the victim was identified as 80-year-old Adward Anak Otoi.
He said the charred body of the man was found at the entrance of the shop which was totally destroyed by the fire.
The operation to put out the fire was mounted by 14 firefighters from Lundu fire station.
