Datuk Seri Najib Razak has advised Malaysians going home to celebrate Aidilfitri to be careful and obey the law when driving.
The prime minister also urged them to stick to the proposed travel advisory in order to avoid being involved in congestion on the major highways.
"Many people have already started to return to their villages to celebrate with their families.
"Do not rush, better to be late and arrive safely at the destinations," he said in his Facebook and Twitter accounts today.
Malaysians, especially the city folks, have already begun to return to their home towns and villages to celebrate Aidilfitri.
