Malaysian netizens hoping for Sample B to be negative.
Netizens are eager to know the results of Sample B following reports of a national athlete who had tanked a doping test in an international tournament recently.
The identity of the athlete has also not been released by the Youth and Sports ministry.
Its minister Khairy Jamaluddin has said, the identity of the athlete will not be announced until the results of Sample B is revealed and tested positive.
“As far as the regulations of the international sports association is concerned, they won’t reveal the name of the athlete until Sample B results are obtained, to safeguard the athlete involved and the international sports federation involved," said Khairy.
Twitter’s timeline has been buzzing over this issue, with many hoping for a negative result of Sample B:

@TheRealAtuo Yes. It's hot topic here. Hopefully sample B is negative.

The B-sample helps confirm that an anti-doping rule violation has occurred and protects the rights of the athletes.
