The People's Progressive Party (PPP) has suggested former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad discuss issues with Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders, rather than hurl criticisms against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
PPP president Tan Sri M. Kayveas said issues raised by Dr Mahathir could be settled amicably if discussions were held.
"We love Tun M. What he said is very important to all of us but he should speak to us before raising them in public," he told reporters after attending PPP's 62nd anniversary at the party's headquarters here Friday.
Kayveas also declared the party's stand to continue supporting Najib's leadership as prime minister and BN chairman.
"The people have given the mandate to Najib, so let him complete his journey ... and the people (in general) should stop criticising him.
"Just because the boat is shaking, we will not switch our loyalty. We will always support Najib's leadership" he said.
