Dr Mahathir surprises moviegoers at 'Star Wars' screening

Dr Mahathir Mohamad surprised moviegoers as he arrived at the Sunway Pyramid shopping complex to watch the latest Star Wars movie.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad pulled a surprise as he arrived unannounced at the Sunway Pyramid shopping centre in Bandar Sunway earlier today.

The former prime minister then quickly rushed to the theatre to watch the latest Star Wars franchise flick, 'The Force Awakens’.

According to an insider, the shopping management was also surprised by the visit as no announcement was given prior to his arrival.

Dr Mahathir arrived at 2.45pm before being ushered into the hall at 3pm with his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali.

They both left at 5.30pm.

The source also said the situation was under control and many took the opportunity to take photos with the politician.

Netizen Hasan Hasnan shared a photo of his siblings watching the movie with Dr Mahathir.
