The draft of the Auditor-General's report on 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) has yet to be prepared as investigations into the national strategic company affairs are still ongoing.
The clarification was made by the National Audit Department today over a claim made against 1MDB in a report published by The Wall Street Journal, purportedly linking it to the so-called draft of the audit report.
"The department was informed by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in a meeting today that the final audit report on 1MDB by the department is scheduled to be presented to the PAC in February 2016," he said.
It said the department would ensure that the final report would be completed according to the schedule.
