Home Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi warned those involved in the fatal accident on the Duta-Ulu Klang Express highway on Saturday which claimed of 'insiders' involvement will not easily escape.
Zahid stressed stern action would be taken on the individuals who had caused the death of a family in the accident and guaranteed that they would be brought to justice.
"Don't take this issue easily, there are those who said that this matter could be discussed. This is not a matter to be discussed. This is a question of life.
"There were reports stating that the driver of the Pajero had not put on his indication light when he wanted to change lane. We do not take reports easily, don't think that the police will close this case easily.
"Don't think of the possibility of an 'insider', I will ensure that action is also taken on the 'insider', if there is any.
"I am not siding anyone, this is a question of life," said Zahid when he visited the victim's children today.
The accident at the Duta-Ulu Klang Express highway early Saturday morning claimed the lives of death of Fairuz Nizam Husain, 35, his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 25, and their seven-month-old daughter, Nur Firuza Annisa.
Initial investigation revealed the Mitsubishi Pajero the family were travelling in was hit by a Perodua MyVi from the right, causing Fairuz Nizam to lose control of the vehicle before crashing into another Perodua MyVi coming from the left.
The impact caused the Pajero to spin and overturn several times, and the three of them thrown out of the vehicle.
Fairuz died at the scene while his wife and daughter succumbed to their injuries at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).
Based on information which went viral on social media websites, the accident was believed to have happened caused by six Perodua Myvi cars which were racing before two of it crashed into the Pajero driven by the victim.
The claims was still being investigated by the police.
