East Coast Expressway fully opened at midnight

The East Coast Expressway (LPT) from the Karak toll plaza to the Jabor toll plaza has been opened to traffic from midnight.

According to a statement from the expressway operator, Anih Berhad, however, only the fast lane in both directions was opened from KM126.1 to KM126.9.

"Motorists are advised to follow the road signs provided," the statement said.

The R&R stop in Temerloh is still a temporary refuge for some nearby villagers and Anih has increased dry supplies for them.
